Days 12 & 13
12. In your own space, talk about what you bring to fandom. It can be something tangible, or not.

I wanted to skip this, but let's try. Um, I write? I randomly update? I have staying power, have been here for years? I read (less than I should). I review when I read. I will talk fic or brainstorm with anyone who's interested. I beta when asked... No, it's not an easy one if you don't run an archive or a swap or do something else the fandom can benefit from. Me, I tell stories.

13. In your own space, talk about a creator. Show us why you think they are amazing.

I did this last time and am still happy with how I decided to answer it. I was about to skip it, but instead I'm linking back: CREATORS

Your courage under pressure and your kindness and graciousness to me when I am handling life's stresses with a lot less grace than you do have meant a lot to me. Thanks for being around.

Oh, you know what? I am useless when it comes to gracious responses to compliments. I'm fine face to face, but tell me to type a reply and I go blank --- either that or I go horribly wordy and overblown. So --- just, thank you. I am having a sad weekend and that touched me deeply. I will always be glad fandom (and EQTDoubt) introduced us.

I think you do enough, much more than enough, in fact, 'just' by writing and by being around. Fandom would be poorer without you as a writer and as a person.

No, it's not an easy one if you don't run an archive ....
I strongly disagree! ;o) The readers and writers are the backbone of any fandom, so anybody who reads or writes or both contributes as much as anybody could want. And you are a brilliant writer, giving so many people so much joy and delight with your wonderful stories, and inspire them, too. But you're also doing so much more, awesome beta-reader and idea-bouncer that you are, as well as great encourager. Your advice, questions, or simply casual talk about something, or review-answer have all brought me onward in one way or another. *hugs*
And leaving the fannish stuff aside, you just being here and being such a kind and generous person is just plain awesome. ♥

The best thing about fandom is meeting lovely people like you who I would otherwise never have encountered. Thank you, sweetie *hugs*. And you're right, it's all of us, writers and readers alike, who make up fandom.
