In your own space, create a love meme for yourself. Let people tell you how amazing and awesome and loveable you really are. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so. Surf the comments and find people to give love to.

Oh, I remember this from last year. It bothered me to begin with, then I realised that learning to value yourself is almost as important as validating others, and that love and respect are a two way street, gifts that it's almost selfish to offer without being willing to accept. As women we're not raised to think that way, which makes this snowflake doubly important. We are worth it!

You are one of my absolute favorite writers. If you write something--whether I am generally interested in the characters or not--I know I will love it. Your page is one of those that I go to when I want something great to read with no chance of disappointment.

You were and are one of the people in the fandom I have always looked up to, whose opinion has a lot of value to me.

(Also, I so agree with your comments on this challenge. It was a really hard one for me to do too, and I thought about skipping it, but we are brought up not to value ourselves or to ask for much for our accomplishments. I very much support trying to change that.)

I think we're scared we'll sound as though we're praising ourselves if we say come, tell me I'm awesome - which can be an ugly thing if handled badly and with ego, but then we don't get much practice in doing it right. I wonder how a group of men would respond to the same prompt?

I battle to find the right words online to deal with praise - it's one of the things I find easier to handle face to face - so this snowflake is a real challenge to me. But *takes a deep breath* thank you for the compliment and the kind words, I never realised you'd read so much of my work. This was lovely, both unexpected and really appreciated. (...oh dear, still needs work, lol)
