DED, but got the first draft done. Now I just have to clean it up, get it to make sense for anyone other than me, sort out the Amazing grammar, stop the ending from wandering all over the place, get it down to a word count Red can find time to beta, find a summary..... Can't imagine what to call it, though I know who I'm writing for and am even toying with 'Fic for **'.

But first I need to finish betaing Jane's fic (I said on the weekend, Monday just became the end of the weekend :|) and do ordinary things like feed my family, shower while there's still hot water, drink more coffee. And maybe I'll try that meme later.

No problem, I'd done the initial run, just need to go down it slowly and comment and stuff. Just took longer to finish my fic than I expected. Sorry about that, you'll still have it with time to edit before you leave.

I thought it would never, ever end! And I'm not happy with the ending either, that still needs a lot of work. As do a whole lot of things like threads that got lost and motivations that make a lot of sense to me, but...

Yours is going to be a great read when it's done, I really enjoyed the part you showed me.

Heh, I just about killed myself on this yesterday, in fact I put in so many hours my husband was sympathetic when I said I wasn't done yet today. That's not happened before - I must have looked really frazzled yesterday *g*. I got the sex done last night (early hours of this morning) and couldn't stay awake longer to write the final scene, so I had to battle with that today. Now I just have to make it look more like a story, less like a wall of words.

I can't imagine dealing with two deadlines so close together, thinking of your with real sympathy there!
