tuxedo_elf  and I were talking about elves - yes, surprise *g* - and she was wondering about the elves at Helm's Deep in TTT and ---- here's the post, she explains it better than I would at this hour of the night. Go discuss, I'm also curious.

Progress report tomorrow. It's somewhere over 6,000 words but I've not had a chance to write anything today. Small family war in progress. Timing sucks because I'm just, just starting to panic a little!

There's a special kind of panic that comes with reading back over what you've written and suspecting you don't like it very much :|

A swap with a close deadline is probably not the place to experiment.....
