I had to phone the bank first thing (8.15) this morning to sort out a problem. Four phonecalls later, after one 'phone your branch\', one 'not my problem' and one 'not our branch, you need to call the
other
branch', I finally, FINALLY found someone who cared and could fix it for me. And it couldn't have been very complicated because it only took her twenty minutes.

Have a headache. This is so not how I needed to start my day.

Ugh. Banks suck in every country. Hubby is still waiting for them to fix a fraudulet transaction from a month ago.

Thing that gets to me is the attitude of 'why should I care?' that comes across. Because without suckers like me, you wouldn't have a job, that's why you should care, dearie!!!!!

And oh yes, a month at least sounds right - if they can't wiggle out of admitting liability, that is.

We've both had interesting mornings. G ran off with the house key to go to work (supposed to have left it) and so I'm stuck here.

Ah well, it meant you had nothing much else to do but sit and talk *g*. Goodnight, btw -- have a good evening.

There's a movie on tv about horse racing, with talking horses...... it's time I was in bed!

I know how you feel. I had a similar problem trying to get a gas bill sorted last week. I spent the day being passed from department to department. Turns out the first number I rang was the correct one. Grrrrr.

Yes, that sounds about right. I've had a similar run in with the city's electricity department :) Not a pleasure!

But why should it matter which branch you call? One would think they would all be interconnected. That's just pure laziness.
I hope the rest of your day goes/went better!
Ooh... work just called. They probably want me to come in early. Maybe if I ignore it they will go away... *sigh*
I hate being the dependable one.

They don't go away if you ignore them *g*.

The whole problem with calling early in the work day is people haven't had their coffee yet, they're not interested in being helpful. The not my branch thing? Yes, quite!

Urrrrrgh! What a way to spend the morning.  **head-->hand**

That sounds like the original definition of 'the runaround.' I hope your day got better, darling.

**hugs tight**

I never quite seemed to catch up with the day, you know. Or get rid of the headache. Was a great pity really as it was truly gorgeous weather, not too warm, not too cool, no wind.

*hugs you*

I sat for about fifteen minutes just trying to get my energy together before I started. I had an idea it wouldn't be straight forward *g*.

Petty little people. Give them an ounce of power and watch out, world! I swear the girl who said she couldn't help me was enjoying herself.

Oh my goodness. "Customer service" seems like an oxymoron these days. I hope today is better.

The second person made me feel almost that I should apologise for disturbing her *g*. Thanks, love, life looked a lot better when the headache wore off.

*hugs you*
