Blood, horror and death do not always result in intimidation and fear. Sometimes, when directed against the wrong target, the reward they reap is anger and determination. The people who planned and executed the attacks today were so blinded by hatred, I think, that they failed to take this into account. Whatever they might have hoped to achieve, they failed!
