Day Nine

In your own space, talk about what surprises you about fandom. It could be a pairing or fandom you never thought you'd like. A fanwork type you never knew existed. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Nothing surprises me about fandom, truly. I found it in 2004, a wonderful, complex other world, and anything (both good and bad) is possible. If it is sentient they will slash it (and sometimes if it isn't), so it's all about how far to push your nerves --- back button is your friend some days *g*.

People can still surprise me. Sometimes by how amazing they can be, what wonderful friends, but occasionally in a bad way, often over things that shouldn't bother me because really, not my problem. But this isn't the platform for that discussion.
