I'd assumed none of mine would place this year, two short pieces and one of the few E/G submissions and all grouped with very strong entries, so this has been very cool -- especially Dragon.

'Dragon' is one of my all-time favorite stories. All three are lovely and completely deserving, but it really tugs at my heart.

Hey, sweetie :) Thank you - I was thrilled about Dragon because it was in a big sub category with a lot of really strong, serious work, and I didn't think it had a prayer. I said it was one of only a few E/G stories this year, but I think it might in fact have been the only one, which is quite a turn around from last year. Plus I gave it a really awful summary, and you live or die by your summary when there are over 600 fics *g*.
