Just a short update on the ongoing soap opera that is my life. For reasons I do not understand the Universe has decided that I need to exist without an internet connection - or even a phone - for a little longer. After waiting longer than the suggested time I enquired politely as to the whereabouts of my new phoneline and internet connection to be told that, for three mutually exclusive reasons, the transfer had been cancelled!!!!
I screamed at the nice lady at the call centre - I feel very guilty about that. And she has put it through as urgent, but I'm not sure how much impact that'll have on the Universe.... Monday I am going to go in to their service depot and make a large scene. Maybe I'll cry some too,/ Short blonde women crying have an impact t sometimes.
For now I am still stuck with the internet cafe story. And, after checking my mail, I am seriously short of time here so I'm not going to be able to answer all the comments people have left to my last two posts for a few more days, but I read them all and sat here with tears in my eyes becauseI miss everyone so much - I'm a sad case today, very emotional, hormones probably, lol. Anyway, just generally, thank you to everyone for the well wishes on my move - which went successfully and we are very happy in our new (telephoneless) home - and for the congratulations on the MPA placings.
I have a chapter of Doubt with Eni and a 25fluffyfics ficlet with Red for beta ing, and will get them edited and posted somehow - no matter how complicated it all gets, lol. Yes, I am still writing, though it's not so easy to write in a vacuum I've found. Really miss the stimulation of seeing what everyone else is doing and thinking.
