Dec. 1st, 2019 22:571. What was the subject/plot/characters of the first work of fanfiction you wrote?
There was some X-files stuff, thankfully unposted, which was long enough ago that I no longer remember details though it was probably my OTP, Alex/Marita. First fic I shared was post Ring War, Elrond getting ready to leave, worrying about Arwen, worrying if his sons will sail, and Glorfindel undertaking to stay for Arwen and then to bring the twins with him to Aman. One of them - I forget which now, I think it was Elladan - had some bad experiences and felt that he might be an item of curiosity rather than fitting in over the Sea. There were some father-son conversations that turned out not bad at all for someone who had no idea what she was doing. Pairings were Elrond/Glorfindel (it was THAT long ago, yes) and Erestor/Lindir --- which is really odd as that's a main pairing in Answers and yet I was half way through writing it before Red reminded me I'd put them together before, though the balance and characterisations are very different.
