Aug. 12th, 2006 04:00I'm making some changes to my flist, and I know some people take the concept of friending and unfriending pretty personally so I thought I'd offer a quick explanation.
I friend people because:
1) I love their writing and want to follow their fiction
2( I enjoy reading their posts even though I don't tend to comment
3) they're people I like a lot and whose lives I'm interested in
4) we are genuinely friends.
However, people change, they move on, they turn out to be very different to the way they first seemed...
The majority on my flist fall into categories 3 and 4 and I want to keep it that way so... nothing personal intended, just cleaning house.
